Group urges tougher roadless rules

CSU wildlife ecologist Barry Noon and 10 other Colorado State University scientists joined a chorus of more than 500 university scientists nationwide on Wednesday opposing an effort to exempt Colorado from a federal rule that would protect more than 4 million acres of the state’s national forests as roadless and more than 58 million acres across the country.
